Lucca Comics & Games brings thousands of guests to Tuscany every autumn. Living inside the city walls is a strategic choice: you park outside the ring of walls, then you are not caught in daily parking stress, and you can enjoy the full festival atmosphere in peaceāup to 6 guests in one apartment, with friends or family. Staying in the historic heart makes festival days less tiring. Note tra le Mura is a curated apartment for calm, design-led comfort and on-foot days. The apartment, inside the walls

Our address
Note tra le Mura is at 14 Via Pelleria, 55100 Lucca, within the city walls, in a highly walkable part of the historic centre. As a rough guide: about 10 minutes on foot to the Carducci exhibition hall (Padiglione Carducci), about 6 minutes to Piazza San Michele in Foro, and about 8 minutes to Piazza Napoleone (times depend on the route and walking pace). Lucca railway station is a 20-minute walk away; the bus station in the historic centre is 5 minutes on foot (check current timetables). Nearby you also have Via Fillungo, the Piazza dellāAnfiteatro, the cathedral, and the same ināwalled, central feel you can check on Google Maps. Airbnb is our primary listingāand the only channel we link to for guest reviews on this site; the property may also appear on Booking.com and similar platforms. The same address and CIN code appear in the site footer on every page.
Why the old town during the festival
During the event, dining, pop-up events, and meeting points are concentrated in the centre. A flat within the walls is a strategic base for Lucca Comics: you are not rethinking where to park every morning, you walk between the Carducci halls, the squares, and the lanes, and you come back to a calm home to share the experience with up to 6 people. It means easier day-to-day logistics, more flexible timing, a comfortable return after long days, and a quiet, self-contained home off the heaviest through-routesāwhile still in the heart of the festival atmosphere.

Frequently asked questions
Is the flat suitable for Lucca Comics guests?
Yes. We can host up to 6 peopleāideal to share the festival with friends or family. It is designed for a central Lucca stay, with on-foot comfort and a restful, well-kept home base. If you have unusual requirements, message us before booking.
How do I check dates and availability?
Use WhatsApp or email via the home page (Contacts section) or the links on this page. We reply with real availability and the next stepsāthere is no online checkout on this site.
How far is the main venue or typical routes?
Roughly on foot from the flat: about 10 minutes to the Carducci hall (Padiglione Carducci), about 6 minutes to Piazza San Michele in Foro, and about 8 minutes to Piazza Napoleoneādepending on the route, pace, and yearās layout. The upside of already being inside the walls is less day-to-day parking stress during the event: for many festival moves you simply walk from āhomeā without using the car again until you leave.
How far are the train station and the bus station?
Lucca railway station is a 20-minute walk from 14 Via Pelleria. The bus station in the old town is a 5-minute walk. Please check current timetables and routes with the local public transport provider.
Where can I park? What is the nearest car park?
Just outside the walls, a convenient option is Parcheggio Palatucci (west, Via delle Tagliate di SantāAnna). From the pedestrian access into the historic centre (towards Porta San Donato or the Santa Croce bastion) it is typically about 8 minutes on foot to the old town, then a few more minutes to Via Pelleria. With an apartment within the walls, you usually avoid repeated parking stress during the dayāsquares, Carducci, and the festival are mostly on foot. We do not operate the car park; check rates and hours on site or with the operator.
Will it be quiet despite the festival?
A historic city is never silent during Lucca Comics, but the apartment sits in a residential, quieter context than the main through-traffic. Ask us if you are noise-sensitive: we describe the experience as it is.
Are there minimum stays or special rules in that period?
In high season and at the event we may apply minimum nights and check-in windows. We agree the details in writing when you enquire.
What should I put in my first message?
Please include your requested dates, number of guests, and any check-in constraints. The clearer you are, the more useful our reply will be.
